Sidenote: Toyota missed an opportunity to call it the Matrix.
Side-sidenote: It’s fucking hot.

I’ve only seen one, at a dealer. Seen a few iAs in the wild.
Sidenote: agree that it should be called the Matrix
Side-sidenote: nice avatar

It has always been a Corolla Hatchback at least in some countries like Australia.
The Toyota Matrix is a weird tall wagon only for the US market.

I followed an elderly lady up our street in a black one of those just this afternoon - doing 18mph. Perhaps a manifestation of why Scion is no longer with us...

The name Corolla hasn’t been used here (U.K.) for years.
Toyota Auris.

Yeah, but...you cannot be told what the Matrix is, you have to see it for yourself.
I’ll see myself out.

I recently saw one as well. I had to do a double-take before remembering what it was. It’s a nice looking hatchback.

Matrix is honestly probably one of the coolest names for a car ever.

I’m stuck between choosing it or the Mazda3 hatch as a daily driver so the Miata can become a backup/fun car.

They did fix the front somewhat with that facelift, but I consider the rear as still one of the ugliest on the market today. The wagon (which you don’t get in the North America) is slightly better imho, but still no beauty queen.
I am amazed by how this car is marketed and perceived in the US though. This is a car typically bought by ‘boomers and beyond here.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

It really looks better in red Than “Spring Green” the only color I’ve actually seen one in. It should just be called, “when your yellow highlighter, gets a bit of green ink on it”
